The archives of Grande Loge Universelle constitute one of the richest and most complete Masonic collections in France.
They bear witness to three centuries of Masonic history and offer researchers privileged access to unique documents.

Attendance registers, lodge designs, rituals, lodge charts, diplomas and patents.

Bulletins, Masonic reviews, newspapers, press articles and internal publications.
Correspondence
Handwritten letters, correspondence between obediences, international exchanges.
Personal archives
Private collections of famous Freemasons, memoirs, diaries and family documents.

Who can consult?
The archives are accessible to researchers, historians, academics and anyone with a serious research project.
By appointment
Consultation is by prior appointment only. It is necessary to fill out a request form.
Documents required
ID card, motivation letter specifying the purpose of the research, and possibly an academic letter of recommendation.
