Our Reflections

Our Reflections

Masonic Thought

Thinking the world to transform it

Freemasonry is a school of thought that invites everyone to question the world, to challenge certainties and to build their own reflection in dialogue and listening.

À Grande Loge Universelle, our works are not debates of ideas but intellectual construction sites where each word contributes to the collective edification of knowledge.

Masonic reflection

Our reflection process

Masonic reflection follows a rigorous process that guarantees the quality and depth of our works.

1

The question

Every work begins with a question posed by a brother. This question can concern a philosophical, ethical, social or spiritual subject. It is submitted to the lodge's approval.

2

Individual study

Each brother conducts his own research, consults works, reflects personally. This step is essential to bring a personal and in-depth contribution.

3

The tracing board

The brother presents his reflection in the form of a "tracing board" (written presentation). This document is distributed to all members before the meeting to allow careful reading.

4

Lodge exchange

The tracing board is read in the lodge, then each brother brings his contribution. The exchanges are rich, respectful and allow enriching the collective reflection.
